Welcome to our second evening cookery class hosted at The Happy Cell, in Brighton (well – Hove actually).
Our evening cookery sessions will offer the opportunity to learn advanced elements of plant based food
preparation, to sit down and enjoy eating beautiful foods & ultimately give you confidence in the kitchen to
create decadent and nutritious treats.
This session will focus purely on advanced raw chocolate making in all its delicious glory!
Starting off we will make some simple and delicious chocolate ice ‘cream
We will then go through a brief introduction to ingredients, preparation techniques and also a demonstration of a white
and dark solid chocolate bar. You will then be given the choice of either following a recipe for one of the flavours below
or you can just use your own creative instinct and make your own ’brand’ truffles. The recipes offered will give those of
you with prior experience and knowledge the chance to try something slightly more advanced, whereas the DIY option
allows you to follow your heart to the level you find comfortable!
Orange Creams – soft centred citrus loveliness!
Mole – pronounced mo-lay, a spicy Mexican influenced chocolate, perfect for Winter warming.
White chocolate cups oozing with raspberry cream.
Maple vanilla and almond praline truffles – say no more!
Rosemary and mint truffle – a contemporary and slightly off the wall combo that is sophisticated and light.
Coffee cardamom crunch – another dark and sophisticated blend that is great for cold mornings to kick start the
day!
These will be made in abundance and shared amongst the group so you all take home a full selection of chocs, to share
with friends and family or squirrel away to indulge in on your own!!
The evening is priced at £30 per person but a reduced rate of £55 for ANY two places booked (this could be for
2 people to attend the same class or one person to attend 2 different classes) is available.
